Provision Events (PVE), the sponsorship activation expert, helped to warm up British tennis fans for Wimbledon this weekend on behalf of sport and music agency Ear to the Ground and ASICS, with a Speed of Serve challenge located outside ASICS’ largest global retail store on Regent St.

Part of the Summer Streets events, the Speed of Serve Challenge saw Regent St. shoppers basking in the tropical weather as they queued up to try and beat the service times of ASICS athletes Novak Djokovic and Johanna Konta. Summer Streets sees Regent St. closed to traffic with activities, entertainment and food and drink on offer.IMG_2503 comp

Simon Jones, Head of Sales & Business Development attended the event and was delighted with the results, “Everyone’s a tennis fan the week before Wimbledon so this was the perfect time to challenge Regent St. shoppers to test their serve. We had a constant stream of participants and the atmosphere of the whole event was fantastic. We were there to warm up the fans but honestly, it couldn’t have got much warmer!”

The Summer streets activity for ASICS is one of many sporting events that PVE will be running this summer. Whether it’s tennis, golf or cricket, summer sports fans will never be far away from a PVE experience.
