Full-service Golf Marketing Agency, Medi8, is celebrating its coming of age with a new look, new brand and a new business venture. The company, which turns 13 today, is rebranding as Medi8 Golf to better reflect the specialist nature of the business and in recognition of how the business and services have evolved over the years.

“The main thread that runs throughout the business is a genuine love of golf and a clear understanding of the complexities of the industry. In the office we joke about ‘bringing the golf’ but that really does sum up our decision to rebrand,” comments Medi8 Golf founder Nicole Wheatley. “This year has brought unique challenges for everyone and I am very proud that our skill set, flexibility and understanding of the industry has helped all of our clients successfully navigate their way through. There seems no better time to shout about our expertise.”

Since the start of the first national lockdown, Medi8 Golf has worked with its clients, particularly in the digital space, to successfully transform campaigns and create new income streams. Highlights of the pandemic year to date include:

• The pivot to create a Virtual Women’s Golf Day, which generated 30.5 Million global impressions of its hashtags and raised over $20k for Médecins sans Frontiers;
• The creation and promotion of On Course Foundation’s ‘On The Front Line’ video campaign in support of frontline workers;
• The development of European Trolley giant BIG MAX in the U.S. market that saw a sales increase of over 500%; and
• The incredible evolution of golf’s only sustainability brand, OCEANTEE.

The diversification of Medi8 Golf’s business has included the introduction of an inhouse podcast service, video production and the development of its educational sessions, the latter being the spark for a new business venture, launching in just a matter of weeks.

David Wheatley Managing Director at Medi8 Golf explains, “We’re all really pleased with the rebrand as it reflects what we have become. For years we’ve been known as ‘golf specialists’, so to recognise that fact in the company name just feels right. We’re also on the cusp of a new venture, which will further cement out place at the heart of the industry, so the timing is just right for the change.”

Following the re-brand, Medi8 Golf will launch its new website in the coming weeks. For more information or to speak with Nicole visit www.medi8ltd.co.uk or email nicole@medi8ltd.co.uk
